  Mark R. Hanson
Mark Hanson was born in Detroit Michigan in 1959. While growing up with his family in Michigan, Mr. Hanson was a frequent visitor to Palm Beach County. After graduating high school in Birmingham Michigan, Mr. Hanson went on to college at the University of San Diego. In 1982, Mr. Hanson obtained his degree with a bachelor's in business administration. From there, Mr. Hanson attended Tulane law school in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated in 1985.

Mr. Hanson has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating an attorney can achieve for competence, professionalism and ethics.

Mr. Hanson is also a member of the exclusive Million Dollar Advocate Forum, reserved for attorneys who have obtained a settlement or verdict in excess of one million dollars for their client.

Mark Hanson located to Palm Beach County and began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney under the Honorable David Bludworth, State Attorney for Palm Beach County. Mr. Hanson quickly rose in the ranks to eventually become a felony division chief, prosecuting homicides, robberies, drug trafficking and other felony crimes. In 1992 Mr. Hanson left the State Attorney's office to open his own law practice. From humble beginnings, Mr. Hanson has achieved remarkable success as a personal injury lawyer assisting injured victims in all types of negligence claims. Mr. Hanson also practices in the area of commercial litigation and has built an impressive resume of clients, including Wachovia Bank, Charter One Bank and the Bank of the West to name a few. Mark is a member of the Florida Bar, Colorado Bar, the bar of the Middle and Southern District Courts in the Federal Court system in Florida, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association and The Florida Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Hanson is the former Vice-Mayor and Town Commissioner of the Jupiter Inlet Colony and sits on the board of directors of the Coastal Conservation Association. Mr. Hanson has been married since 1995 to his wife Wendy and has two children.

   
Sheila Brodbeck
Sheila Brodbeck, the chief paralegal and office manager, has been in the legal field since 1973. Ms. Brodbeck has extensive experience in the areas of commercial litigation and personal injury. Ms. Brodbeck's knowledge and skills are a great asset to the firm. Ms. Brodbeck has been a resident of Palm Beach County for over 40 years.
She and her husband, Greg, have two daughters and three grandchildren. Sheila is very active in her church and in several charitable organizations in the western communities near Wellington.
   
Lisa Smith Lisa Smith
Lisa Smith has been in the legal field for over 17 years. She first started at the Circuit Civil Clerk’s office as a docket and domestic intake clerk for three years and then worked for Judge Elizabeth T. Maass as a judicial assistant for 12 years. With many years at the courthouse, she has extensive knowledge in County Civil,
County Criminal and Circuit Civil giving her personal experience on the ins and outs of how the court system works. She was the vice-president of the Judicial Assistant Association and did administrative duties for many years with Judge Maass, including setting up the standard forms that all the judge’s use in Palm Beach County. Ms. Smith obtained her paralegal degree in 1991 and has paralegal experience in insurance defense litigation as well as Plaintiff’s personal injury. Ms. Smith has been a resident of Palm Beach County for over 27 years graduating from John I. Leonard High School.

She and her husband Mike have a son, 7 years old and a daughter, 5 years old. She loves to camp, read, do arts and crafts and spend time with her children.

Phil Ross is the firm's investigator. Mr. Ross has had extensive police training and a brother who works as a road patrol officer with the West Palm Beach Police Department. Mr. Ross is highly respected in the community as one of the top flight private investigators.
